We have to start acting like the pokémon world is an entirely different place to ours. All of their regional inspirations have been extremely stupid and lacking and satisfy no one. Real world inspiration accounts for like 5% of the final result. And GameFreak unequivocally incompetent.

For America their inspiration was going to the zoo and TV shows
For France their inspiration was a boomer guided tour in Paris.
For UK it was asking the foreigner art guy.

They've been developing Iberian region during the years of restricted travel and COVID, it's going to be a fucking shitshow. The best material they have is photos from previous visits to Spain while promoting previous games.
