>>22970840Hidden power as it is is a garbage attack, though. Really low base power. Most of the time even if it's super effective it won't kill unless we are talking about 4x super effective. Even then they sometimes narrowly survive. It's really predictable, anyway, as if you know the standardized sets people use there are certain pokemon that just always have a particular hidden power. Manectric is one of the more predictable ones - almost always has ice, occasionally has grass, but should definitely be expected to run one of the two.
The only ambiguous one that comes to mind is Keldeo, as I've seen 6 or so separate builds that use different hidden powers, most of which are things that give it coverage against Jellicent while still covering different things based on the needs of the team.
Please don't talk shit on hidden power. It's literally the only thing special attackers have going for them. It's sad, really.
