>>35831189Incineroar's fur texture would probably look like this....but you know what, I'll say it, somehow it looks good here and I like it. I'd prefer gray fur tho' even if I get the torso's skin due to fur being 'burned off' or whatever.
>>35832953I do love the tiger-vs-dragon trope, Charizard used to be my fave fire starter pre-Roar.
>>35829630You got it right, so many of those designs on the left just don't scream Pokemon to me - too edgelord, or too overdesigned. Hating Incineroar is one thing, it's undeniable, but I'll take it over those shitty designs on the left any day.
>>35829582>>35829613Firstly, I appreciate you guys are willing to call out other starters and other mons than act like Incineroar is the only offender ever on that front. No, seriously, I appreciate it. I'm biased to liking Incineroar, but it always bugged me when people acted like others that clearly suffer the same apparent personality/humanoid flaws were somehow innocent of them.
I do, however, ask if the fandom's going further than GF intended on interpreting the humanoid aspect - that maybe GF really does still see Blaziken as a chicken that's able to fight well, or Incineroar as a tiger that just happens to have a violent disposition and happens to stand on two legs, etc. etc. I sometimes wonder if the fandom's losing its imagination and becoming too literal, if that makes sense?
