It's even more interesting in
rule34.xxx smash or pass because they use porn pictures. Despite using these pretty vanilla looking pictures only 48% of people said smash to it, putting it below even pikachu. Pretty much all the bipedal popular pornmons have a pretty distinct look from humans, even Gardevoir.
I also have a pet theory that people perceive Pokémon as these sort of animal-like creatures that the stigma for being quadraped is much less severe than it would be in every other context. The fact that Glaceon and Sylveon are up there without a meme behind them shows this to some extend.
