I think girls and younger women prefer more twinky men because the seem "less threatening", which is more appealing when you are still small and weak. They are too young to really get into proper masculinity. Once women are older they start to actually like masculine men.
For me personally, I definitely like men who are undoubtedly male in their physical appearance and body build, but have slight effeminate facial features. Arven is definitely on the younger side as far as my preferences go, though.
