Bought a Cricut printer and printed the info/qr code on the front and back. Bought an ultrasonic slab welder as well for $1400. Just copies ID numbers directly from previous listings that were at least a year old, and from cards that people would post on Reddit.
Spent my summer working from home and slabbing/printing labels. Opened an ebay store and sold everything over the next year, and made over 200k easy through LGS, FB marketplace, Reddit, Offerup, etc. No one's the wiser. When I stopped selling on ebay I had over 8000 transactions and no negative reputation. Even sold at one of the local comic cons in my area in 2022, and still netted about 15k after the exhibitors fees and whatnot.
The best part is, I'm not the only one doing this, and I have cheap shit, imagine what people are putting out with actual good machines. Graded cards are a complete scam, and there's a good chance that PSA / CGC are faked. Even Becketts isn't safe, even though in 2020 there were a lot of fake slabs with an incorrect patent number at the bottom, but I've still seen some good ones. What gets people caught is using fake cards and fake slabs. I just used fake slabs and my old collection.
Thinking about doing it again since I had bought more slabs, and still have the ultrasonic welder
