You know it to be true. Gen 9 will be undercooked and lacking in content, but /vp/ will praise them as the best one yet just for being open world. They were impressed with something as simple Legends despite that game actually being worse than SWSH in terms of visual quality and lasting value (espeically when you factor in the DLC).
I wouldn't even call SWSH a good game but the fanbase is used to so many meidcore entries that anything slightly different to them is a masterpiece in their eyes. Raise your standards or play a different series.
