I thik the earliest pokemon related one was a human-turned-eevee (later joleton). Very shy when he started, but became your typical protagonist with time, optimistic, cheerful, always seeing the best in people, etc. He's so happy in fact, that it's contagious & makes people turn on each other just to be with him. Clara would try to stay serious at first, but end up being all kinds of happy akward with Jolteon & overall having a good time, Smoke would be suspicious as fuck of him tho, not outright contempt or anger of some kind, just skeptical (until he finds out what jolteon can do 'xT ).
