>>34807373The first three are beautiful to watch. 4Ever and Heroes are the same style, but just aren't quite as good. After Heroes the style just changed and they all seemed really pointless and inauthentic.
I mean, there's just so much amazing imagination going on in the older movies. I could go on an on talking about all the weird and interesting concepts, but it would take hours. The newer movies have this plasticity about them that really turns me off. Even with all the cheesy dialogue and out-of-place songs, the first five movies have this beautiful sense of refinement that all the others fail to capture. I think maybe it's the weird dark aspect of them that makes them stand out.
