I thought it would be hard to convey the "green snake dragon legendary acts as guardian deity in a region" without feeling like a Rayquaza copy, or doing it at all in a game that takes place entirely in a single city, but nope, if anything Zygarde looks more like a guardian that Rayquaza ever did, Fug feels like it stops Groudon and Kyogre because they are noisy loud neighbors that ruin its chill time and stopped the meteor only after Zinnia summons it and says they all are dying otherwise (and it wouldn't have been able to do it if Maxie/Archie didn't happen to give you the meteorite) but Zygarde all on its own
