With 18 episodes, I think it's safe to say we're getting 3 episodes for every generation. The next episode will probably be based around Ho-Oh and the legendary beasts, as the legendary beasts appeared in the initial trailer and Ho-Oh is in the promotional art.
Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre are in the promotional art but Team Magma and Team Aqua aren't, which begs the question of whether there's going to be an episode based around them like seemingly every other villain.
Cheryl appeared in the trailer so that confirms her for appearing in at least one episode. Giratina and Cyrus are in the promotional art, so that means there will probably be an episode revolving around the distortion world.
N, Ghetsis, and Kyurem are in the art as well. Interestingly, Ghetsis is in his B2W2 outfit, implying whatever episode he's in will be centered around that time.
AZ, Lysandre, and Perfect Zygarde are there too, but there's nothing really notable outside of Zygarde being in it's perfect form. And even that could've just been related to the first short.
