The bad

>Odd lvl jumps (Route 6 palace way has trainers the same level as areas wild pokemon (11-13) while you are about 14-17, reflection cave is a sudden difficulty spike and wild pokemon outside it are low level)
>Many megas went for the wrong pokemon
>Notably unfinished in many areas (events, powerplant)
The good
>World interactivity (berries being given after battle if you use a specific attack and there is a tree, tips, berry field mutations, cafés and restaurants, massive amounts of lore and a few optional quests with npc's)
>Aesthetic of the region tries to make sense thus the dex has 3 seperate regions of Kalos and is massive in general
>Game rewards the player for catching them all with its level curve actually working with exp share IF you rotate the party
>All of the new pokemon are not overly annoying to get and are very memorable/have dedicated roles (Gogoats bulky regeneration attack sets, vivilions quiver burst damage, talonflames priority)
>welcomed thousands to competetive with easier training
>With PSS the online peaked (image related)
