He gatekeeps people by saying they need six pokemon to fight him, which is dickish enough as it is, but in the context of the actual game by the time you get six and go to fight him you'll be 10 or so levels below him and not have the means to eat through his team quick enough before he gets evasion hax off - yet since his team is all weak ass NFEs or shitmons he still can't beat you so you're just stuck being chipped for an eternity while you miss all of your attacks.
