>That's why it's called yin AND yang.Well, to be fair, that's only what the opposing aspects are called. The symbol is actually the Taijitu, which consists of Yin, Yang and Wuji. Kyurem is the Wuji (a yin-yang outline with nothing in it), so pic related should be the most logical representation.
They're all aspects of one whole, so obviously it's going to have all of their characteristics at once. You could also argue that it represents Reshiram's truth and Zekrom's ideals being united under one master or some shit like that.
