>>54409953I don’t even know what this “sharty” website is, but I don’t like this idea that when trolls go to upset someone, the person who gets upset is somehow to blame for “ruining the thread”, and the troll doesn’t get any shit for it whatsoever. I don’t care whether I get mad or not. I just want, and deserve, the RIGHT to be mad. Why, on a website that supposedly touts “free speech”, should I be forced to suppress my negative emotions, likely taking them out on people in real life later on, just because it makes some troll “win”? Why shouldn’t we be allowed to be mad?
I don’t give a shit if they “win the argument. I “win” by telling them to fuck off and feeling better about it afterwards. I hate not replying to bait, because all I’m doing is bottling up my negative energy, to save face on an anonymous website that should honestly be where I can RELEASE my negative energy so I can feel better in real life. This is honestly more about bait culture than it is about this “sharty” website, but I don’t even know what this website even is, so all I can speak from is my personal experience of trolls found here. I hate how this site glorifies trolling and baiting, and I don’t understand why people like (You) make them so untouchable by attacking anyone who gets “baited”. I don’t give a shit about winning “e-arguments”, so I’m just gonna keep replying to bait, because doing so makes me feel better, and thus makes the website a more positive experience for me, so why SHOULDN’T I reply to it?
