Tried my hand at it. Gym leader is a rich,fat, greedy casino owner who pretty much runs the city. The gym resides within the Game Corner (bring back pls), and you have to fight trainers with randomized battle effects to make it to the leader. Gym trainers can be fought in Singles, Doubles or Rotation, a random weather or terrain effect can appear at the start of a match, or either side may win a held item to give to their Pokemon before a match.
The Gym Leader is fought in a rotation battle, and uses Embargo to make himself extra annoying.
