Elenore makes a living by running a delivery service for top-level ace trainers way out in the wilderness.
She'll bring mail, potions, specialty items, whatever- right to your campsite out on Route 9999. Or in a cave, or in the ocean. Unfortunately, she's a lazy girl. Don't worry, she'll get you your delivery... but no one said anything about it being on time. or it being cheap. Or the fact that this girl will probably bum a meal and nap first.
She has become a decent pokemon trainer for two reasons- one, she has to be able to combat high-level pokemon out where she does deliveries (or at least survive long enough to run away). Two, if a trainer can't afford their mail pckage, she will challenge them to a battle. I honestly doesn't matter who wins or loses, she just wants to see that her delivery was worthwhile. But these challenges certainly add up over time.
