Maybe you could argue that both Carmine and Kieran are bisexual. Carmine is an asshole to you cause she has a crush on your which annoys her, especially if the MC is female. Kieran has a crush on you too, and the reason why he hates the MC is either because she prefers Carmine despite being a girl, or cause he can't deal with being attracted to guys when the MC is male
Or you can just say that's it's just jealously towards his sister in general
