I still can't understand why the only Ice-type moves they learn through level up are Icy Wind and Ice Shard. Icy Wind is useless for them, and while Ice Shard is nice because it's priority, you can only get it if you keep Sneasel unevolved until level 47. At least they get Ice Punch through Move Tutor, but even that's not ideal.
