There's something about Tropius that absolutely hooked me back in Hoenn. Maybe because you encounter it in my favourite area of the region near my favourite secret base location. I always struggled with Grass types and Tropius really opened my mind when it came to using new types. He was also my Flying type, and so it was always on my team.
Maybe I also love the idea of having an enormous fucking sauropod even though it's only 6ft tall following me around and keeping me company.
Even though he has his weaknesses, I love him. Hearing that it has Harvest as its HA got me pretty excited as well, but now that I'm into competitive battling I can't seem to find a set for it that really lets my old time bro shine.
