Has anyone else that's been on /vp/ for at least a few years noticed a shift in the general opinion on things on this board? Just to name a few I've seen:
• Gen 2 and 3 were both loved to the point that people would constantly argue about which one was better. Now both Gens/Regions are denigrated frequently.
• Smogon vs Karenfag threads have now become Smogon vs VGC threads.
• No one does giveaways anymore unless it's in a general.
• Dislike for legitimate genwunners has evolved into pure vitriol for the entire 1st generation itself.
• Furfaggotry/Pokegirl threads are de facto board staples now, rather than taboos eschewed by the greater community and mods themselves (garybombing, Sparky/Bui getting shot posted to oblivion, etc).
• People seem to try to find anything to argue about now (Gen 6.5, really guys?) instead of shit they actually have an opinion on.
Am I just crazy or are there any /tr/ainers that have noticed the same? Have we shifted from old /vp/ to more /v/ + Pokemon?
