>>42228055That’s one of things I have to complain about, G-Max for Orbeetle fits so thematically and it’s a very good design so if the concept is culled next generation we lose out on a design. This explains why many Mega Evolutions were ignored for the 6th generation Pokemon, like you said. Plus the Mega Evolutions for the old Pokémon felt more like sidegrades than downgrades.
Orbeetle going UFO is absolutely kino, you could remove G-Max Garbordor and feel like you’re not missing out on something. I had to find a G-Max Orbeetle before I got through my playthrough just because I felt like I’m not getting something. A damn shame they just can’t make a system to train regular Pokémon to G-Max potential. Curry, Dynamax meter growth, something but they missed the target implementing this feature quality of life wise.
