You guys forget that Pokemon is a multi-media franchise. The bulk of the money comes from the merch and not the games themselves. For all we know, TCPI noticed that Kanto merch was more profitable and ordered GF to follow suit for their next games. BW's slight dip in sales was probably only a small factor.
