Duplicate the block(s) you plan on using for a bridge. Use [direction]_WALL collisions on both sets of bridge blocks so the player can't clip through.
Set up as many coordinate events as necessary.
Make the red squares change the blocks to the "ground" version of the bridge with priority tiles so it appears above the player.
Make the blue squares change to the "upper" version of the blocks without priority.
