Update: Redid Crawdaunt's sprite with the Gen V palette.
A weird thing with a lot of Gen IV's Hoenn sprites is that they use the same palette as the GBA sprites. Crawdaunt in particular is weird because it's literally just a larger version of the Gen III sprite? But the backsprite is also redone?
I feel like that's probably a holdover from Diamond and Pearl's rushed development, and might be why Game Freak felt the need to resprite every Hoenn Pokemon in Gen V.
>>54619647It's for Gen IV, so the sprites are 80x80. I'd rather do any sprites I need to do myself instead of leaning on somebody else's project.
>>54619025I did have reasons for all of those ones that you mentioned:
>Articuno's shiny palette is seafoam green as a reference to the Seafoam Islands>Moltres's magenta-hued flames are meant to be like its Galarian variant's flames>Pink-flamed Typhlosion is supposed to be more like its shiny in Gen II>Regice's shiny is a reference to its shiny TCG card from Legend Maker (as is Regirock's)I'll see how the snow white Articuno and swapped Moltres look, though. Thanks for the concrit.
