>>53497165A Delibird sat on a tree branch at the edge of the woods, watching over the Pelipper Post building as one of the namesake workers flew out of the open gullet of the structure shaped after the namesake pokemon.
"Darn tacky lot." She muttered to herself as she took a bite of an oran berry. "Ain't got room for improvement." She continued after swallowing the mouthful. She thought back to her home in the far north where buildings were made with function in mind first and foremost. Here in the south, advertising seemed to hold more value. Lack of extreme weather, she supposed.
She sat there for a while longer, watching the locals come and go, Pelippers setting out and returning from their rounds. Mental notes on the numbers kept piling up, quick math approximating the flow of money and her sharp mind started to form a picture of the entire operation.
"Letters, that's the ticket. They ain't takin' on much more than letters." She mused to herself as the sun began to reach towards the horizon and the orange glow flushed over the land. One figure caught her eye in the scene, a Linoone exiting the post office with a mailbag. "Ain't that somethin'."
As the lithe figure approached her hiding spot, the Delibird hoisted her tail bag and glided down to come face to face with the stranger. Her expression radiated jolly cheer as she waved "Howdy hon! Name's Debby. Debby of Delibird Deliveries! Y'all join the winnin' side?"
