>>49531962I feel like the waterbear has been getting more and more popular over the last decade and with GameFreak's obsession with Pokemon in space or other dimensions, I'm surprised this hasn't shown up yet. NASA had some old theory about waterbear-esque creatures being a possible explanation for life on Earth because micro-organisms like them are able to live in space and in conditions that are normally considered unliviable and it's possible they attached themselves to comets that crashed into Earth. Sounds like something GF would've lifted as an explanation for why Pokemon show up all over the universe.
