>>37535866You're assuming I would like every HM user, or that in a specific playthrough I would want to use something. If I playthrough gen 4, am I just gonna use bidoof every single time? I like a lot of pokemon, and I'm sure I could build an hm team, that's not the issue. Maybe on my first playthrough I have a team that can use HMs (which is already annoying for wasting slots with pointless moves), but what if I want to replay with mono grass? Or I'm doing a nuzlocke, etc? The enjoyment of pokemon for me is using the pokemon I want to use at that moment.
