Continuing the Red Part of my Serieslocke today went and beat Misty. Spent most of my time grinding Oddish (Basil) on Rattata to bring it up to level 21 so it would evolve. I would like to credit my win against Misty to the broken way sleep works in Gen 1. I would have had a Jigglypuff on Route 3 but after it breaking out of three pokeballs in one shake Sangria gave it a love tab and killed it. Had I thought move than five seconds ahead I would have just gone and gotten my Mt. Moon encounter then used that to catch the Jigglypuff but ohwell. My Route 24 encounter was an Abra which like every Abra I have ever seen Teleported after breaking out of a ball. Also again I swear to god my names are based on colors its just that a lot of color names also happen to be food names. I went out of my way to name Ekans Mauve to help break the cycle of Food/Color names. Hopefully now that I have a team of Five all grinded up to level it won't take me forever to grind for Lt.Surge tommorow.
