>>47340769Yeah, first gym in Viridian was supposed to be a flying (or bird type if it was super early) type gym hence the feather badge, but late on they changed it as they thought it was too early for a gym, so make Brocks gym the first (which was supposed to be a ground type and not rock type as it happens)
They did not remove the gym however and decided to just at last minute remove the bird themeing and leader from it and make it the final gym, and added in Giovaia as the final gym leader at some point
.. Who at some point they decided was gonna be a flying and or bird type leader like the orginal beta gym but then decided to make him ground/rock and or posion for whatever reason
