Actually, it's kids (sinnohfoeti and unovabortions) who hate megas. Adults, who grew up hearing myths about Mist Stones, Mewthree, Charcoal and the like find Megas to by amazing. I haven't met an OG fan who doesn't love Megas.

Of course, this board is mostly made of kids who started with gen 4 or 5, so it's no surprise they get a lot of hate here.

It's not a crossover if they're both the same canon, anon.

The anime has always been canon. PokeSpe, Nuzlocke and other such fanfiction never will be.

Name cries have always been canon and will probably be implemented more fully when cartridge space ceases to be an issue

Currently the evidence is against you. Ash-Greninja and Ash-Pikachu present strong arguments for the anime residing in the same canon as the games, as does Pokemon Yellow and the canon status of name-cries. Unless you can provide evidence against this we have to consider your claim moot.

Pokemon Amie is the best feature since Abilities. I always wanted the pet sim aspect fleshed out ever since playing pic related and I was so glad when it finally happened. I've been seriously worried they'd cut it so I was overjoyed when they revealed they'd be expanding it instead.

Being able to groom and play with your Pokemon adds so much personality to them it's amazing. I'm glad we've finally reached a point in the franchise we can have things like this.

Everyone seems to expect a Yellow version remake, but let me tell you why that's bullshit.

1. Yellow tied in with the Indigo league arc of the anime because the show was super popular back in the day.
2. GameFreak doesn't give two shits about the long-time fans who have stuck with the series since then, preferring to cater to kids.
3. Their target audience, kids, would have no fucking clue what's going on.

There's no way they'll remake it. That said, does anyone have a counterargument? I'd enjoy Lightning Yellow as much as anyone, but I can't find any justifications.
