>>56638240It seems reasonable that the Mythical Pokemon are the original children of Arceus. Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and Manaphy all visually look similarly to Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie. It says they were frail and died, but they also almost never appear in any games, so it makes sense that they would become mythical.
