>>46307296This. As much as the current series is an improvement over SM when it comes to hype and speculation it still bleaks in comparison to the absolute golden age which was XY /padt/. SM /padt/ at least was sustained by the 24/7 Lillie and anti XY/Serena circlejerk (with the league being somewhat hype despite dragged for too many episodes) but now when they are gone (bar Famon for some reason) there is really not much to talk about. The current series is slower than early XY (which was the slowest part of XY's run) and there are no obvious hype points like the gym battles we had in previous series. This means that right now the only topics worth discussing are Grookey and Korrina/Iris/Gary/Bea all of which have been exhausted ages ago. There is no new Pokemon Fan scans, no new special preview, no new anime merch with spoiler mons, nothing. We did not even get a new ending since the beginning of the series goddamit. It is obvious that /padt/ will be a desolate place when there is nothing to talk about and shitposters are mostly gone.
