>>22322486The point is you don't gain anything from the added bulk. If you are worried about bulk use focus sash and you are guaranteed to live 2 attacks. What the speed does in this case is allows it to put pressure on many bulky slow to mid speed tier pokemon like Rotom-w/Cresselia/Tyranitar and punish bad players who decide to run something like slow bulky kanga as you are able to go before all these pokemon.
Let's say you do run a bulky bisharp. In turn you are now getting wow'd by Rotom, outsped and damaged by midtier speed pokemon who are running speed like ludicolo.
Even then 65/100/70 defenses is not good for a pokemon who has a lot of common weaknesses can get hit neutral to the common fairy/water moves.
If you are worried about bulk again just run sash. Bulk just makes it harder for Bisharp to put pressure which is what defines Bisharp in this metagame.
