extra rule was that team all had to be the same gender. mons of the other gender could be caught but the entire team would have to be swapped out to use them. i was forced to ditch my starter for a grill team early on. there were many points where i should've swapped back. but as you may be able to tell from how far i am in this horrible quest i am very stubborn. i wanted to take that ledian to the end. honestly? i've used worse. bug buzz, air slash, and dual screens worked. she saw a lot of use throughout the whole game. when i caught that shitty little ledyba on route 1 i thought she'd never come out of the box. now she's one of the greats. two of hearts is a religious song now.
