Like, I could get the point if it was something more niche in which the opinion of "core" fans (whatever that means) mattered, but this?
Even if you somehow had a button that allowed you direct control of literally EVERY SINGLE PERSON on the planet invested enough in the series to care, and used such a button to make sure that EVERY SINGLE ONE, 100% of such people wouldn't buy the game, you would have reduced the sales by...what, 0,1%?
