These Pokemon are found in most caves in their native region, and sometimes in mountain ranges. Cobblin are very timid creatures that quickly make rock shells upon birth that tend to be very amateurish. They hide from predators and humans by retracting their legs into their shell and disguising as rocks. When they evolve into Oregre, the Pokemon grow into their shells, which by this point are higher quality, now with crystal shards growing out of them. Oregre feeds on smaller rock Pokemon, like Roggenrolla and Geodude. Carbink is their favorite treat due to their crystalline bodies. On rare occasions, Oregre have been observed eating the Cobblin offspring of enemy Oregre packs.
It is very, very rare to see living Cobblin and Oregre without their rock shells/armor. Not even trainers super close with them see what's underneath.

>>39696904Thank you! My idea for its faint animation is the glass shattering and the poison falling into a goop pile, which looks similar to Grimer/Muk.
