>>37284140I was planning to include a large dungeon based on Tokyo's underground metro. The idea was either to have it gradually unlock and grow as you collect badges in Kanto, or just hint players to come by later by the increasingly difficult trainers the deeper you were.
There will also be buildings like restaurants, jazz bars, etc that will be functionally similar to Gen 6 restaurants, Ecruteak dance theater, Winstrade house, etc.
I was also wondering if having Kanto mostly as a scaled open-world, with side areas being unlocked by badges collection/completing side missions, could work. Obviously open-world can be hit or miss so it definitely needs a lot more thought put into it.
