>>42768029I guess Malamar being such a villainous Pokemon makes it one of my favourites. You can do so much to make it really interesting in stories, especially with a design and abilities it has. The one I'm writing (Haven't thought of a name yet - I'm thinking of Thistle) can't use hypnotic powers because of an injury, but he's still an unforgiving outlaw.
Your characters sound pretty cool though. Especially in a world where violence is the norm and they're forced to fight because of it, but that put them into a sinister side. Does Murdoch ever wish that if life was less hell, he would be more good than evil?

Grand adventures without humans and seeing the more wild side of the Pokémon world from one of their perspectives is a refreshing concept for me, at least.It's exactly that! My two main characters are a team because both have a love for hunting treasure, and they both want a new outlook in life. Neither were once human, and no one in my fanfic actually is. I feel that most PMD fanfics focus too much on deconstructing concepts in the series or force in too many themes at once, but all I want to tell is a fun story with a clear end.
