>>39056202>>39056525Not that anon, but you're implying that the National dex is somehow equivalent to the bulk of the new games when it's always been a single additional feature, often tacked onto the endgame in a "here's this thing" sort of way.
That image is ignoring all the new shit the game actually will have, primarily new story, mon, places etc.
A better food analogy here is to imagine Pokemon as everyone's favorite thing to shit on here, ice cream.
>Each gen is a new flavor>Each one comes with about the same amount of ice cream>Normally there's past flavored sprinkles included (the national dex)>The new flavor they're coming out with is more expensive, but it's still a new flavor and comes with a prettier cone to compensate>No sprinkles though>Before even trying it, everyone's looking at the cracks in the cone and yelling "THE NEW FLAVOR IS SHIT. THIS ICE CREAM PARLOR IS DEAD. HOW DARE YOU REMOVE SPRINKLES.">Meanwhile, anyone wanting to try the new flavor despite the increased cost is called a shill or a sheep
