>>18908055Well of course its not the main reason, but I suspect it was an angle that a lot of the older fans (and parents who were watching the show at the time) would have liked/interested in. A lot of the stuff is especially...well you only really understand it later. Or rather...well, you acknowledge it, maybe even like, maybe you even fucking shipped when you were young in 96 or 97 or whenever it first started airing. But you GOT a lot of the more subtle hints later. Frankly speaking, in a season filled with awesome battles, bretty good plot, new shit here and there, good music and good animation, it's interesting this angle is still perhaps the main hook I'm latching on with at the moment to XY.
