>>36536918Education no longer exists in any practical sense. Educational institutions have been hollowed out and converted to indoctrination centers. Students are brainwashed towards two specific ends: self-awareness is overwritten with blind obedience of authority figures (ensuring that the System retains its power), and those who would be capable of providing for children are coerced into less fruitful or unfruitful unions (raising average dependence on welfare, and therefore dependence on the System). Any positive-sounding stated aims are never anything more than a threadbare veneer, although since we're into multiple generations of brainwashing at this point a buzzword-laced statement from a System-approved authority figure is usually sufficient to convince the masses of anything.
Additionally, any kind of practical education might lead to self-sufficiency, and therefore independence from the System, so it's natural to quash it. Massive student debt is also a highly effective tool of dysgenics; the more intelligent the individual, the less likely they are to have children since they wouldn't be able to provide for them properly.
Of all the numerous institutions currently busily employed in eradicating civilization, I would say that those controlling schools and colleges are likely doing the most damage.
