I'm usually having standardly powerful stuff. I'm not ashamed of running the occasional Garchomp or Talonflame but I also pack certain pokemon that only THEY can do their job for.
I like running Empoleon with assault vest to tank the world and then hit really hard with special attacks.
I like running Staraptor for its ability to intimidate and hit hard as well
I like using Zoroark of all things because I can trick my opponent into thinking I'm running baton pass or something. Then hit them really hard with Nasty Plot.
I like using Espeon as dual screens.
Unique strategies and how you use them are the real game. The cookie cutter stuff only gets you so far.
