>>49112839>Gym Leader MelThe femboy leader. His team - Porygon-Z, Snorlax, Swellow, Mega Kangaskhan, Type Null. His gimmick is simple but enormously powerful - it's an inverse battle, so his normal type attacks can't be countered.
Just the first move was hard, because of how strong his Porygon is. I opted to go for Roserade, who actually forces a switch thanks to how choice AI works in this game and because I'm EV'd specially bulky. This allows me to Toxic as he goes Snorlax, then I stall it out with Diggersby. I chip Mega Kangaskhan until it takes the fat bunny out with Thunderpunch, and Froslass comes in as he swaps Type Null who gets 1v1'd thanks to Will o Wisp and his own Rest set boosting the power of Hex.
Out is Swellow, probably his most problematic mon as it comes into the battle pre-burned and is armed with Guts Facade and Boomburst. My best strat for this is just stalling its burn damage and Rocky Helmet Cloyster, but the fucker does U-Turn out before it dies back to Porygon. I need another sack, choose Roserade this time. Froslass comes in and it sadly cannot kill with Hex, but the RNGods smile upon me and it lands a crit to kill at the last moment (if this had failed, I had Extremespeed Togekiss). With this, I can finish off the weakened Swellow with Ice Shard and dodge Mega Kang's Fake Out with Protect.
Man, fuck anybody who says monotype leaders can't be hard as fucking balls
>>49112891are you sure you're downloading it from the proper sites?
>>49113530>>49113157Good luck for the grinding process and the league, hope you don't run into any more ubers
>>49112933Are you both alternating on and off the same file, or is it like a soullink kind of deal? Still, sounds interesting. Need to try XD/Colo some day
>>49114034maybe try unova or hoenn? they're both considered usually a step down in terms of difficulty (besides bw2's challenge mode at least)
