Pokemon is a universe where the real world object inspired Pokemon are the inspiration for said objects in universe. See Klank being the inspiration for gears, the ice cream Pokemon being the inspiration for ice cream and foongus predating pokeball design, same with Hisuian Voltorb existing at the time of the ancient hero
If anything people here can't grasp that the Pokémon universe is not our universe.
