What are some Pokemon designs that seem generic and uninspiring at first, but actually have creativity and meaning behind them?
Bronzor and Bronzong are based off an old Japanese story where women gave their mirrors to be melted into a bell, hence the evolution. It can also explain why they get Heatproof (couldn't melt the bell, was thrown in a swamp) and moves like Block/Imprison (mirror givers had a contract to give it with all their heart).
