3DS doesn't work with catalog

I don't know what's wrong with it, but this has never happen to to me before on but now it does it all the time.
is this happening to any one else? is there a way to fix it.

I can never be tied down to one mon because I am always looking for the next best thingumajig.
For a long while, Dragonite was my go to mon for saving my ass but he's so played out like Charizard, it was time to move on. Right now, Cofagris has been my new hoe for this gen; bringing me all the poke-dollars I need from people that think their getting an easy win.

yea, I know, HP Ice, but it has come in handy a bunch of times.

sure, I can't do much to normal types, but they can't do much to me. I find myself using this set the most, and after a few CalmMinds, and Rest off any Poison. I can sit there and look pretty until the other pokemon runs out of moves, or die from burn.
