It's supposed to be for the final that it's sticky like fairy floss, so stuff sticks to it. They are light and blown by the wind, so when they see something they want to eat they're pretty fucked since they float by the wind's terms. maybe they have sticky paws to help them stay on the ground? It could have Sticky Hold as an ability.
