Every other fossil pokemon that still has a wild population mentions that fact but not aerodactyl.
Also the Dex says that "mega evolution restored its genes"
So you telling me that its possible every fossil pokemon is fucked or is the old amber just an exception and they filled in the DNA (a sorta reference to Jurassic park similar to the amber itself)
