Gen 3 is my favourite, i loved hoenn and the remakes. Gen 4 was also solid, good region, pokemon and again a good remake. BW was weird for me, the world felt more linear than hoenn and sinnoh for some reason. Also the game didn't captivate me the same way, but i still finished it.
XY i was sceptical but overal did enjoy it, and again the ORAS remakes were very good.
Then came sun and moon. Completely missed it for me. Sword shield were even worse.
